P.E.A.C.E. Community Garden

P.E.A.C.E. stands for Permaculture, Environment, Abundance, Community, Empathy

P.E.A.C.E. Community Garden was founded in 2012 by Carrie Ellmore Tallitsch and John Wong with a vision of inspiring these attributes into the community and environment.

P.E.A.C.E. Garden resides on the emerging “Green” footprint at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Together, with the support and partnership of Sustainable Jersey City, we hope to enrich and inspire the Five Corners Community. As an organic permaculture garden, we use no chemicals, pesticides, or GMO seeds.

We are an experimental and a learning garden to the youth, elderly, and donate to The Sharing Place Food Pantry on the premise.

We offer compost drop off for traditional and Bokashi compost systems. We are committed to caring for the land with an integrity that generates a permanent and sustainable culture between earth, animals and humans in an urban setting.
